Adem Kikaj

Hi, I am Adem, an AI Engineer at Predikt.ai and a PhD student at KU Leuven.

At Predikt.ai, I work on AI methodologies that support procurement decision-making, focusing on how advanced machine learning methods can improve supplier intelligence, market analysis, and purchasing strategies. More broadly, I am interested in translating ideas from academic AI research into practical systems used in industry.

My research focuses on the integration of graph neural networks with probabilistic logic programming, at the intersection of graph machine learning, (probabilistic) logic programming, and neurosymbolic AI.

My PhD is part of the iBOF project under the supervision of Prof. Luc De Raedt and Asst. Prof. Giuseppe Marra. I previously worked as a researcher at the DTAI research group at KU Leuven.

Before that, I was a research member at the Knowledge Technologies department at the Jožef Stefan Institute, where I also obtained my MSc working on decision-support systems.
